A couple of ferry operators offer combined cargo tickets that include ferry ticket and Øresund bridge ticket. This form of crossing allows for transport on one ticket from Germany through Denmark to Sweden and from Poland through Sweden to Denmark.
The article below shows our offer for ferry and bridge packages.
Rostock – Malmö
Crossings on the Rostock – Malmö route are organized by Scandlines ferry operator. The ticket is valid for a ferry crossing between Rostock in Germany and Gedser in Denmark and a crossing through the Øresund bridge on the Copenhagen – Malmö route.
Rostock – Gedser ferries sail 10 times a day. Ferries cover the distance of 52 kilometres in 2 hours. More information about the route is available HERE.
The Øresund bridge connects Copenhagen in Denmark with Malmö in Sweden. The entire structure is 16 kilometres long, which can be crossed by road or rail.
The route between Gedser and Copenhagen must be covered on wheels. The distance between those two cities is 155 kilometres and the journey takes less than 2 hours.
When booking a Rostock – Malmö crossing, you can choose between an open and closed ticket. An open ticket means that the vehicle can cross on any ferry during the selected day on the Gedser – Rostock route. A closed ticket means that a specific ferry departure has been booked. Crossings over the Øresund bridge are always made with open tickets. Therefore, when choosing a package for a crossing from Malmö to Rostock that starts with a crossing over the bridge, an open ticket is generated.
The bridge or ferry ticket must be used no later than 24 hours after the first service in the package has been used.
Puttgarden – Malmö
Ferry operator Scandlines offers combined tickets for crossings between Germany and Sweden on the Puttgarden – Malmö route. The crossing consists of a ferry crossing on the Puttgarden – Rødbyhavn (Rødby)route between Germany and Denmark and a crossing of the Øresund Bridge on the Copenhagen – Malmö route.
Puttgarden – Rødby ferries operate around the clock, every 30 minutes. The crossing takes 45 minutes, covering a distance of 20 kilometres.
The distance between Rødbyhavn and Copenhagen, where the Øresund Bridge begins, is 160 kilometres. It takes less than 2 hours to travel this distance.
Tickets for Rødby – Puttgarden ferries and the Øresund Bridge are open. It means that combined tickets are also open for the whole route.
The bridge or ferry ticket must be used no later than 24 hours after the first service in the package has been used.
Świnoujście – Copenhagen
The connection between Polish port of Świnoujście and Denmark’s capital city belongs to Polferries network in the Baltic Sea. Polferries offers combined tickets for Świnoujście – Ystad ferry crossing and the Øresund Bridge on the Malmö – Copenhagen route.
The crossings between Świnoujście and Ystad take place daily, twice a day in each direction. The crossing takes 6,5 or 8 hours depending on the time of day. More details about the cruises on the Świnoujście – Ystad route can be found HERE.
When booking a ferry package with a bridge on the Świnoujście – Copenhagen route, you must select a specific departure on the Świnoujście – Ystad route to receive a guaranteed place on the ferry.
The distance between the port in Ystad and the entrance to the Øresund Bridge in Malmö is 58 kilometres. The journey must be covered on wheels. It takes about 50 minutes.
