Please be aware that demonstrations by French farmers have been reported at the Port of Dunkerque. DFDS confirm that this has not affected of Dunkerque–Dover service, which continues to operate according to the previously advised refit schedule.

Should the situation escalate, diversions may be implemented to maintain traffic flow. If required, DFDS suggest exiting at Auchan on the A16 and approaching the port via the back roads.

You must follow the below route:
From the A16 motorway (both northbound or southbound), take exit 54 A (Auchan-Grande Synthe Centre commercial / shopping centre). follow the CAR FERRY sign in the left lane at the traffic lights (towards D601 – Loon-Plage) ; after the bridge over the railway tracks and before the Esso station turn right at the traffic lights to reach the Route de Mardyck way ; turn left at the second road and follow the CAR FERRY sign along the Route des Dunes, pass the motocross track, the ferry terminal is located at the end of the Route des Dunes after the roundabout (route de la Maison Blanche via route des Dunes).
