RAlpin is a RoLa train (Rollende Landstraße). It may also be called the Rolling Highway. It is a type of intermodal transport that involves transporting trucks by rail on low loader wagons. This solution is usually implemented in alpine countries, mostly in Austria and Switzerland, where a lot of traffic regulations for HGVs function.

Freiburg – Novara train can be booked via PROMY24.COM. There is a search engine on our main website “Your cargo booking”, which allows you to check out the price and make a reservation.
If you wish to book a journey with RAlpin, following information is necessary:
- Registration numbers of truck and trailer,
- Type of vehicle,
- Number of drivers,
- Total weight of vehicle.
If your vehicle is transporting hazardous cargo, you are obliged to report this fact while placing an order.
If you know that your booking is not going to be used, please send us a request to cancel the booking. One change in the booking is allowed, without extra fees. Following changes are paid. All changes an cancellations must be reported up to 7 hours before train’s departure. RAlpin’s operator has LATE CANCEL and NO SHOW fees for case when the truck does not show up in the terminal.
