DFDS Dunkerque – Dover route is operated by three ferries.

Those three ferries sail under the British flag. Their names are Dover Seaways, Delft Seaways and Dunkerque Seaways. Ships were built in 2005. Each one of them can take up to 1000 passengers and 250 cars.

The price for Dunkerque – Dover ticket includes base and fuel and environment components. Fuel surcharge is called BAF, which stands for Bunker Adjustment Factor. It is calculated every month based on current price of fuel. ETS is the environmental component of the price. It stands for Emissions Trading System. The fee comes from European system of carbon dioxide emissions trading.
