Ferries from Gdańsk to Sweden run on the Gdańsk - Nynäshamn route. The port of Nynäshamn is located approximately 60 km south of the Swedish capital, Stockholm. The Gdańsk - Nynäshamn route is operated by Polferries (Polska Żegluga Bałtycka). Ferries between Gdańsk and Nynäshamn operate from Monday to Saturday (Sunday departures are only available in the summer season). The ferry to Sweden from Gdańsk departs once a day at 18:00 hrs CET (on the return from Nynäshamn to Poland it's also 18:00 hrs CET). The crossing time is approximately 18 hours, so ferries arrive at their destination ports the next day around noon.

Ferries to Sweden from Gdynia

Another way to get to Sweden from Tri-city is to depart from the port of Gdynia. A ferry to Sweden from Gdynia can be found in the offer of the ferry operator Stena Line, which operate on the Gdynia - Karlskrona route.
The port town of Karlskrona is located in the south of Sweden. The sailing schedule from the port of Gdynia depends on the day of the week. Stena Line provides two or three departures a day (usually one departure takes place in the morning, and the rest - in the evening). The crossing on the Gdynia - Karlskrona route lasts from 10 to 12 hours, depending on the departure.

The ports of Trelleborg and Ystad are approximately 50 km apart. Travelling this distance takes less than an hour. Polferries operates ferries between Świnoujście and Ystad on every day basis. Two or three ferries depart daily from Świnoujście and crossings take place at different times of the day (including night sailings). The crossing time is approximately 7 hours and this time may vary depending on the chosen departure.

It is worth mentioning that Polferries also offers the Świnoujście - Copenhagen route via Ystad. It is a combination of a ferry crossing on the Świnoujście - Ystad route with a crossing over the Malmö - Copenhagen Oresund Bridge, which connects Sweden with Denmark.

Ferry Świnoujście - Sweden with TT-Line

The ferry operator TT-Line also provides a ferry connection on the Świnoujście - Trelleborg route. The ferry to Sweden departs daily, once or twice a day, depending on the day of the week. TT-Line ferries cover the Świnoujście - Trelleborg route on average in 7 hours. Depending on the particular departure, crossing times may differ.
