Superspeed 1

Kristiansand – Hirtshals ferryis operated by one Color Line vessel – Superspeed 1. The ferry was built in Finnish shipyard in Turku in 2007 and was rebuilt in 2011. The vessel is 211 metres long, has 11 decks and can ship 2315 passengers and 750 cars. The load line on the vessel is 1999 metres. The maximum speed of Superspeed 1 is 27 knots which equals 50 kilometres per hour.

Fjord FSTR

Fjord Line has one vessel operating on Hirtshals – Kristiansand route. The vessel is called Fjord FSTR and it is a fast catamaran, that can develop speed of 37 knots (68 kilometres per hour). The ferry was built in 2021. Fjord FSTR is 110 metres long and can carry 1200 passengers and 410 vehicles.
