Ferry Tallinn – Helsinki: schedule

The Tallinn–Helsinki route is crucial for both freight transport and passenger traffic. Ferries on this route depart daily and operate 24 hours a day, allowing customers to choose a convenient sailing time. Crossings take an average of 2.5 hours and are run by three ferry operators:

  • Tallink Silja – offers the most daily departures, around seven sailings per day.

Eckerö Line

Eckerö Line operates two modern vessels on the Tallinn–Helsinki route:

M/S FINLANDIA, a typical ro-pax ferry carrying both passengers and freight.

M/S FINBO CARGO, serving the Muuga–Vuosaari route, dedicated mainly to freight and truck transport.

Viking Line

The flagship vessel of Viking Line on the Tallinn–Helsinki route is M/S VIKING XPRS, a modern ro-pax ferry built in 2008.

During the summer season, the vessels Gabriella and Viking Cinderella are added to the fleet.
