Ferry disruptions on Brittany Ferries routes.

UPDATE 24/10/25

Due to technical problems the following departures are cancelled:

Portsmouth-Caen
24/10 15:00,
25/10 08:00, 23:00,
26/10 15:00,
27/10 08:00;

Caen-Portsmouth
24/10 23:30,
25/10 16:30, 
26/10 08:30, 23:30;
27/10 16:30.

UPDATE 22/10/25

Due to bad weather conditions, please note the following changes or cancellations :

Departure Cherbourg/Rosslare, on 22/10/25 at 20h, cancelled;
Departure Rosslare/Cherbourg, on 23/10/25 at 18h, cancelled.

Brittany Ferries has announced the temporary closure of the Le Havre-Portsmouth route from September 30, 2025.
 
The French operator's decision is the result of a strategic choice to maintain the Cherbourg route this winter to support the development of the new train service between Mouguerre and Cherbourg, which was launched last May.
 
Services on the Le Havre-Portsmouth route will resume on April 1 with 14 sailings per week, up from 8 currently.
