Scandlines: cancelled departures and timetable changes [UPDATE]

UPDATE 28/06/24

Scandlines would like to inform about customer information provided by their partner Øresundslinjen Helsingør ApS.

Please be informed that the main road to Helsingør port will be closed in both diretions for maintance works between 30th of June and 7th of July during hours 19:00-05:00.

All traffic will be redirected to an alternative route. Vehicles which length exceed 25,25 m will not be able to use alternative route.

UPDATE 07/03/24

Due to technical problems ferry Kronprins Frederik is currently unable to operate on Puttgarden - Rodby route.

Scandlines is already working on the solution and expects to resume service this afternoon.

UPDATE 22/02/24 15:45

Due to the expected wind strength tonight, the following departures on February 23, 2024 have been cancelled:

From Gedser: 01:45;
From Rostock: 04:15.

Due to technical problems the following departures are cancelled:

01/02 11:15 Rostock-Gedser;
01/02 09:00 Gedser-Rostock.

UPDATE 26/01/24

Due to predicted wind forces following departures are cancelled:

26/01 16:10 Rostock-Gedser;
26/01 18:40 Gedser-Rostock.

UPDATE 24/01/24

Scandlines has confirmed the cancellation of the following departures:

- 25/01 01:45 from Gedser to Rostock;
- 24/01 18:00, 22:30 from Rostock to Gedser.

Sailings will be resumed:
- from Rostock 25/01 at 04:15;
- from Gedser 25/01 at 07:00.

UPDATE 23/01/24

Due to bad weather conditions following departure have been cancelled:

- 24/01 from 08:40 to 18:40 from Gedser to Rostock;
- 24/01 from 06:00 to 16:10 from Rostock to Gedser.

meaning that on 24/01/24 only following departures will take place:

- from Gedser to Rostock at 01:45, 07:00, 20:15;
- from Rostock to Gedser at 04:15, 18:00, 22:30.

UPDATE 22/01/24

Due to bad weather departures of m/f Kronprins Frederik ferry were cancelled today at 01:00 and 06:00 from Rostock to Gedser and at 03:20 and 08:40 from Gedser to Rostock.

M/f Kronprins Frederik ferry will resume sailings at 11:30. Departures of m/f Copenhagen ferry remain unchanged.

UPDATE 21/12/23

Due to forecasted bad weather conditions following departures have been cancelled:

- between 21/12 20:15 and 22/12 13:30 on Gedser-Rostock route;
- between 21/12 18:00 and 22/12 11:15 on Rostock-Gedser route.

Last departures are 21/12 18:00 from Gedser and 21/12 15:45 from Rostock. First departures after the break are 22/12 15:45 from Gedser and 22/12 13:30 from Rostock.

UPDATE 23/11/23 19:20

Crossings on the Puttgarden - Rødbyhavn route are now running at full capacity.

UPDATE 23/11/23 12:15

Scandlines confirmed that operations on the Puttgarden - Rødby route have resumed.

However, due to the current weather/wind situation, ferries are currently only sailing with limited loads.

We will inform you as soon as the regular ferry service is possible again.

Due to heavy storm following departures on Rostock-Gedser route have been cancelled:
23/11 11:15 Rostock-Gedser;
23/11 11:15 Gedser-Rostock.

Sailing will be resumed today at 13:30 from both ports.
Trucks will be shipped in the row they arrive in the port.

UPDATE 23/11/23

Due to bad weather conditions all departures on Scandlines' Puttgarden<>Rodbyhavn route on November 23rd have been cancelled.

First available departures are:
23/11 12:45 from Puttgarden;
23/11 12:45 from Rodbyhavn.

UPDATE 22/11/23

Due to predicted weather and water conditions, the following departures on Gedser-Rostock v.v. have been cancelled:

22/11/2023
Gedser-Rostock at 20:15, 22:30;
Rostock-Gedser at 20:15, 22:30.

23/11/2023
Gedser-Rostock at 01:45, 07:00, 09:00;
Rostock-Gedser at 04:15, 06:00, 09:00.

The sailing will be resumed with departures Thursday, 23.11.2023 at 11.15 from both ports and the trucks will be shipped in the row they have arrived in the port.

Scandlines recommends using the Puttgarden-Rødby service during this time.

UPDATE 20/10/2023

Due to bad weather conditions all departures on Scandlines' Puttgarden<>Rodbyhavn route on October 20th have been cancelled.

First available departures are:
21/10 03:15 from Puttgarden;
21/10 03:15 from Rodbyhavn.

UPDATE 19/10/2023

Due to bad weather forecast following departures have been canceled:

- Gedser-Rostock - all departures from 19/10 20:15 to 21/10 03:00 (last available departure 19/10 18:00, first available departure 21/10 07:00);

- Rostock-Gedser - all departures from 19/10 20:15 to 21/10 00:45 (last available departure 19/10 18:00, first available departure 21/10 06:00).
