Zeebrugge-Rosslare (Finnlines): Cancellations and timetable changes

UPDATE 24/11/25

Finnwave has delayed ETA Zeebrugge Wed 26.11. at 07:30 (instead of Tue 11:30).

The delay is caused by a three-day strike announced by the unions in protest against government reforms.

Vessel Traffic Control Zeebrugge has now decided to participate in the strike as well.

Starting this evening at 19.30, all vessel movements in the port will be suspended until Wednesday 07.30.

UPDATE 14/07/25

Due to M/S Finnwave's delay, schedule on Rosslare-Zeebrugge route will be as follows untill 17.07:

- departure from Rosslare 14.07 17:00; arrival in Zeebrugge 15.07 22:00
- departure from Zeebrugge 16:07 06:00; arrival in Rosslare 17.07 09:00 and then back to normal schedule.

UPDATE 19/02/25

Finnlines informed that Finnwave will have earlier departure time from Rosslare on Thursday 20/02 at 19:00 (instead of 22:00). The departure has been rescheduled due to bad weather.

Also arrival time in Rosslare 20/02 is scheduled to be earlier at 02:30 (instead of 04:30) to enable safe arrival.

UPDATE 25/11/24

Due to previous bad weather conditions and resulting delays tomorrow's (26/11) sailing from Zeeburgge to Rossslare at 21:00 has been cancelled.

UPDATE 22/10/24

Due to M/S Finnwave's delay, schedule on Rosslare-Zeebrugge route will be as follows:

- arrival in Zeebrugge 23.10 11:00, departure from Zeebrugge 23.10 16:00;
- arrival in Rosslare 24.10 20:00, departure from Rosslare 25.10 05:00;
- arrival in Zeebrugge 26.10 11:00, departure from Zeebrugge 26.10 16:00;
- arrival in Rosslare 27.10 22:00 and then back to normal schedule.

UPDATE 21/10/24

Due to adverse weather conditions schedule on Finnlines' route between Rosslare and Zeebrugge will be as follows:

- arrival in Rosslare 21.10 22:00, departure from Rosslare 22.10 04:00;
- arrival in Zeebrugge 23.10 09:00, departure from Zeebrugge 23.10 16:00;
- arrival in Rosslare 24.10 19:00, departure from Rosslare 25.10 02:00;
- arrival in Zeebrugge 26.10 06:00 and then back to normal schedule.

UPDATE 01/10/24

M/S Finnwave has delayed ETA Zeebrugge Tuesday 1.10. at 20:00 (instead of 18:00). The delay is due to previous delays.

Finnwave further schedule:
- Zeebrugge, ETA Tuesday 1.10. 20:00, ETS Wednesday 2.10. at 04:00;
- Rosslare, ETA Thursday 3.10. 11:00.

Then back to normal schedule.

UPDATE 23/09/24

Due to Finnwave's late arrival and the unavailability of stevedoring gangs on Saturday evening and Sunday, loading operations in Zeebrugge started on Monday morning shift.

- Zeebrugge, ETA Saturday 21.9. 13:00, ETS Monday 23.9. 14:00;
- Rosslare, ETA Tuesday 24.9. 21:15, ETS Thursday 26.9. 22:00.

Then back to normal schedule.

UPDATE 21/08/24

Finnwave has delayed ETA in Rosslare - Thursday 22.8. at 07:30 (instead of 04:30).
Delay is due to late departure from Zeebrugge and adverse wind conditions in Rosslare.

 UPDATE 11/03/24

Finnwave, which has technical problems and doing repair work now at sea, has delayed ETA Zeebrugge Mon 11.3. at 23:59 (instead of 11:00).

UPDATE 01/03/24

Finnwave has delayed ETA Zeebrugge Sat 2.3. at 23:59 (instead of Sat 12:00).
Delay is due adverse weather last night in Celtic sea with 5,8m waves.

Cargo will be discharged Saturday-Sunday night and units are ready for pick-up Sunday morning at 06:00, when Zeebrugge gates open.

• Rosslare ETA Tue 5.3. 16:00.

UPDATE 28/02/24

Due to the delayed departure of the Finnwave ferry from Zeebrugge (today 28/02 at 05:30), the next sailing from Rosslare has been postponed to tomorrow (29/02) at 22:00.

Finnwave has delayed ETA Zeebrugge Tue 27.2. at 00:30 (instead of Mon 11:00).
Delay is due adverse weather conditions and berth availability in Zeebrugge.

• Zeebrugge ETA Tue 27.2. 00:30, ETS Tue 27.2. 18:00 (closing time, Trailer/Container 16:00, Lorry 15:00)
• Rosslare ETA Wed 28.2. 23:00.

Finnwave's schedule has been adjusted  due to berth repair in the port of Zeebrugge:

- departure from Zeebrugge 07/02 18:00 (closing time for lorries at 15:00);
- departure from Rosslare 09/02 10:30;
- departure from Zeebrugge 11/02 18:00.

UPDATE 06/02/24

Ferry Finnwave has delayed its arrival in Zeebrugge. Due to the delay, departure 07/02 04:00 Zeebrugge-Rosslare is moved to 18:00. Closing time is 15:00.

Due to farmers protest in Zeebrugge, Finnwave schedule is adjusted accordingly:

Finnwave has delayed ETA  in Zeebrugge Tuesday 30.1. at 13:00 (instead of 06:00).
Delay is due berth availability in Zeebrugge.

UPDATE 25/01/24

Finnlines informed that next departure from Rosslare to Zeebrugge will be on 28/01/24 at 16:00. Following departure from Rosslare will be on 01/02/24 at 22:00.

UPDATE 23/01/24

Due to bad weather conditions schedule on Zeebrugge-Rosslare route this week is as follows:

24/01 13:00 Rosslare-Zeebrugge;
26/01 22:00 Zeebrugge-Rosslare;
28/01 20:00 Rosslare-Zeebrugge;
30/01 21:00 Zeebrugge-Rosslare.

Return to normal schedule is planned for Tuesday 30/01 with departure from Zeebrugge.

UPDATE 19/01/24

Finnwave's departure from Zeebrugge on Saturday 20/01 15:00 has been delayed to 21/01 21:00.

Delay is due to adverse weather conditions in the English Channel and Celtic Sea.

Finnsky has delayed ETA in Rosslare Thursday 11.1. at 07:00 (instead of 04:30). Delay is due to previous delays.

UPDATE 22/12/23

Finnlines informed that departure Ex. Zeebrugge today and departure Ex. Rosslare tomorrow are both cancelled.

Therefore next departures are:
Ex. Zeebrugge: 26.12.2023 21:00;
Ex. Rosslare: 28.12.2023 22:00.

UPDATE 07/12/23

Finnwave ferry arrival to Zeebrugge was delayed due to strike. The ferry arrived at 5:30 on 06/12/23. Because of that, schedule has been updated:

- departure from Zeebrugge - 06/12 14:00;
- arrival to Rosslare - 07/12 20:00 and departure from Rosslare - 08/12 08:00;
- arrival to Zeebrugge - 09/12 15:00.
