Victoria Seaways, which currently sails the Klaipėda-Kiel route, will be redirected at the end of September to replace the smaller Optima Seaways to ensuring continuity of service on every departure.

Victoria Seaways is 199m long and offers space for 1,000 passengers and 170 freight vehicles. It is a sister ship to the Athena Seaways that sails regularly on route Rosslare-Dunkerque.

The introduction of Victoria Seaways will be a great addition to this route by adding extra capacity in freight lane meters and cabin availability. The addition will also increase the capacity for hazardous cargo loads and temperature-controlled units.

By the introduction of this vessel, DFDS is showing commitment and a Long-Term support for the Rosslare-Dunkerque service.

With the addition of Victoria Seaways, DFDS is planning to improve scheduling, so we will keep you updated on!
