M/F CRACOVIA, operated by Polish company Polferries, will remain in the Mediterranean Sea for at least another year. Algerian operator Nouris el Bahr Ferries has decided to extend the vessel's charter for another 12 months — the new agreement will take effect in November of this year.

CRACOVIA is a ro-pax ferry built in 2002, capable of carrying 650 passengers and offering 2,196 meters of lane space for cargo. Since July 2024, it has been operating on Mediterranean routes, including connections from Algeria to Alicante and Marseille.

The vessel was withdrawn from the Świnoujście–Ystad route, which it had served for 7 years since 2017. It was replaced by the VARSOVIA ferry — a new-generation vessel equipped with advanced technologies that provide passengers with a high level of comfort and travel safety.

CRACOVIA was officially withdrawn from service in the Baltic Sea on July 1, 2024.
