Polferries chartered Varsovia, a state of the art ferry, which will replace Cracovia on Świnoujście – Ystad route.  Varsovia has been equipped with modern technologies to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers during the cruise.

Varsovia is a ro-pax ferry, which was built in Italian shipyard Cantiere Navale Visentini in 2024. The vessel is 216 meters long. It has 2875 meters of load line for cargo vehicles and space for 200 passenger cars. The ferry accommodates 976 passengers and 24 crew members. There are 230 4-person cabins on the board, which gives 920 places to stay. Varsovia also has 107 airplane seats. Polferries offers on-board dining, entertainment and shopping areas. Interestingly, the restaurant on Varsovia has a modern kitchen space with ovens for baking real Italian pizza.

Varsovia will start sailing on July 27th 2024. The ferry will leave Świnoujście everyday at 12:30 and Ystad at 22:45.

New vessel will replace Cracovia, which will stop operating on July 1st. Cracovia will move to the Mediterranean. In addition, the Baltivia ferry will also be taken out of service.
