Last weekend, we had the pleasure of taking part in the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Polish Baltic Shipping – Polferries. The jubilee was not only an opportunity to celebrate, but also a chance to discuss the market, the future of ferry crossings, and the role that ferries for heavy transport play today in European logistics.

For the PROMY24.COM team, this was a particularly special event – we have been working with Polferries from the very beginning, jointly handling ferry crossings for carriers operating transport routes between Poland and Scandinavia.

50 Years of Polferries – Experience That Shapes the Market

Five decades of Polferries’ operations represent a history of consistent growth and strengthening its position as one of the key ferry operators in the Baltic Sea region. Over the years, the shipowner has played an important role in the development of ferry connections and ferries for heavy transport, providing stability and predictability of services in a demanding international environment.

Of particular value is the fact that Polferries is a Polish company based on Polish capital, successfully competing with the largest European shipowners.



30 Years of Cooperation and a Shared Look Toward the Future

For PROMY24.COM, the Polferries jubilee also has a strong partnership dimension. Thirty years of cooperation mean thousands of completed ferry crossings, joint responses to market changes, and continuous adaptation of the offer to the real needs of carriers.
