Turku is located on the south-west coast of Finland, about 2.5 hours west of Helsinki. Tallink and Viking Line provide daily crossings between Turku and Stockholm, and the voyage between these ports takes approximately 12 hours. Both operators' ferries stop on the Åland Island on the Helsinki - Stockholm crossing.

In February 2022, Stena Line began operating between the ports of Hanko and Nynäshamn. The port of Nynäshamn is located approximately 60 km south of Stockholm. The ferry operator provides daily crossings between Hanko and Nynäshamn. These take place once a day in each direction. The ferries depart from the ports in the evening and arrive at their destination the following morning. Crossing time on this route is 13 hours.

A ferry from Poland to Finland can be found in the offer of the Finnish ferry operator Finnlines. This operator's vessels sail between the ports of Gdynia and Hanko. The port of Hanko is located on the south coast of Finland, about two hours from Helsinki. The ferry crossing takes approximately 20 hours. The ferry to Finland leaves once a day, several times a week. The same applies to ferries leaving from Poland.
