The Fréjus Tunnel - Disruptions

HGV traffic will be suspended in the Fréjus tunnel from Wednesday, 11 September 22:30 to Thursday, 12 September 04:30 (emergency works on the A32 in Italy).

In September 2024, the Fréjus tunnel will be closed to traffic on the following days:
-
13 to 14 September
DIRECTION France>Italy 22:30-01:00, 01:45-03:15, 03:45-04:45.
DIRECTION Italy>France 22:30-22:45, 23:45-01:00, 01:45-04:00, 04:15-04:45.
In addition, during the night hours, an alternating movement is used along the entire length of the tunnel to enable safety-enhancing work to be carried out according to the following schedule:
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 September | ||
From 22.30 on the designated day until 4.45 the following morning | ||

In August 2024, the Fréjus tunnel will be completely closed to traffic due to works and safety exercises being carried out on the following days:
- 26 to 27 August from 22:00 till 06:00 (8 hours).
In addition, during the night hours, an alternating movement is used along the entire length of the tunnel to enable safety-enhancing work to be carried out according to the following schedule:
