Under the agreement, DFDS will offer passenger and freight services to the Isle of Jersey from the ports of Poole, Portsmouth in the UK and Saint Malo in France. The services will be operated by two high-speed ferries, one RoPax ferry and a second RoRo unit. DFDS is also committed to renewing the fleet serving the Isle of Jersey, which is expected to be built between 2030 and 2032.

Brittany Ferries will operate to the Isle of Guernsey from France and the UK under the name Brittany Ferries Channel Islands. During the tender process, Brittany Ferries lost the organisation of ferry crossings to the Isle of Jersey to DFDS.
