Epsilon – Unity Line's new ferry already on route to Trelleborg

Epsilon, a ro-pax ferry, debuted in Unity Line’s fleet at night departure on 23rd of January 2024. The vessel operates everyday from Świnoujście to Trelleborg at 2:15 and from Trelleborg to Świnoujście at 15:55. The ferry is commanded by master mariner Capitan Arkadiusz Śląski.
Epsilon was built in 2011 in Italian shipyard of Visentini and it can take up to 299 passengers. The vessel is 186 m long, almost 25 m and has 2860 m of load line. 60 passenger cars and 134 trucks can board this ferry, which makes it the biggest and the newest cargo vessel that belongs to polish ferry operator.
Inauguration of the ferry took place on 15th of January. Among the numerous guests who were on board Epsilon that day were: Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Olgierd Geblewicz, President of Świnoujście Janusz Żmurkiewicz, Vice-President of Szczecin Michał Przepiera, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Arkadiusz Marchewka and consuls of Cyprus, Denmark, Finland and Luxembourg.
Epsilon was bought on 17th of December 2023 by Unity Line’s business partner – Euroafrica company. For a short period of time the ferry docked at the “Gryfia” repair shipyard, where it was repainted andunderwent minor adaptation works. Epsilon replaced Euroafrica’s Galileusz ferry, which from now on will operate on Świnoujście – Ystad route. Epsilon will significantly strengthen transport potential between Poland and Sweden.
