Finnlines has opened new route between Rostock and Turku

Finnlines has re-established its service between Turku / Uusikaupunki and Travemünde, now with additional connection with Rostock. Until now Rostock had been connected only with Helsinki and Hanko. This change means that a whole new route is added to Finnlines’ network.

First cruise on Rostock – Travemünde – Turku / Uusikaupunki route departed from Germany on Sunday 25^th of August.

The ferry in service on the new route is M/S Finnpulp, which has 3259 meters of total lane length. The ferry has following schedule:

• Loading in Travemünde on Sundays at 13:00,
• Loading in Rostock on Sundays at 23:00,
• Arrival in Turku on Tuesdays at 09:00,
• Arrival in Uusikaupunki on Tuesdays at 18:00.

The return journey is according to the schedule below:

• Loading in Uusikaupunki on Fridays at 10:00,
• Loading in Turku on Fridays at 20:00,
• Arrival in Travemünde on Sundays at 07:00,
• Arrival in Rostock on Sundays at 17:00.
