Increased capacity thanks to TT-Line's ferry return

MS Nils Holgersson back in service
Green ship Nils Holgersson is back in service and TT-Line returns to full capacity. Together with her sister vessel Peter Pan, TT-Line will not only increase the general capacity of their fleet again, but especially on the highly demanded evening departures from Travemünde the oparator will be able to offer more space for transports. Both vessel are back in their former standard timetable as from Sunday, 19.05.2024.
TT-Line's green future
As part of oparator's commitment to nature conservation and environmental protection, TT-Line focuses on six of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals by the United Nations with the greatest potential in their area of activity.
The six goals TT-Line is focusing on are Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action and Life Below Water.
Their main goal is to reduce CO2 emissions by 40% until 2035 compared to 2010. Since 2010, TT-Line have already achieved a reduction of almost 19%, partly through the construction of their Green Ships and other sustainability initiatives.
