A letter of intent to establish a new operator was signed by the heads of the companies: Piotr Redmerski (Polska Żegluga Bałtycka), Dariusz Doskocz (Polska Żegluga Morska) and Jacek Wiśniewski (EuroAfrica).

In addition, the Minister of Infrastructure Arkadiusz Marchewka noted that a new investment agreement has been signed, which will secure financing for the construction of ferries for Polish operators at the Gdańsk Ship Repair Yard. 1.3 billion PLN has been allocated for this purpose. In 2026 and 2027, three new units will appear in the Unity Line fleet.

POLSCA will operate as a joint-stock company, in which three entities will be equal shareholders: PŻB, PŻM and EuroAfrica. The company will be headquartered in Świnoujście. No information has yet been provided as to who will be the president of the new company.

Piotr Redmerski, president of PŻB, announced that POLSCA will manage 10 ferries and will certainly surprise with information about launching new ferry connections at the end of this year.
